Installation Guidance

For a long-lasting installation, Tikal Grey should be fixed to a suitable, stable wall substrate using an adhesive system appropriate for porcelain and the intended environment.

For exterior installations, ensure the substrate, adhesive and installation method are suitable for external use. Good adhesive coverage should be achieved behind each tile, following the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations regarding preparation, application and curing.

We recommend mixing tiles from several boxes during installation to distribute any differences in shade and pattern naturally across the finished wall.

Tikal Grey is designed to recreate the varied character of natural stone, so differences in shade, pattern and detailing between individual tiles are an intentional part of the overall appearance.

We recommend viewing a sample before ordering and mixing tiles from different boxes during installation to achieve a balanced and natural-looking finish.

Porcelain products are manufactured in production batches, and slight variations in shade and appearance can occur between batches.

We recommend ordering sufficient material to complete your project in one order, including an allowance for cuts and wastage, as additional quantities purchased later cannot be guaranteed to provide an exact batch match.
