Important Information – Manufacturing Sizes & Batch Variation

Saba Beige (Saba Nude) is manufactured in Spain and produced in carefully controlled size and shade batches.

Unlike conventional porcelain paving with strictly rectified dimensions, this product features a lightly tumbled edge effect and is manufactured with slight dimensional variations between production batches.

Although sold as a nominal 900 × 600mm slab, actual dimensions may range from approximately:

• 895 × 595mm

• Up to 905 × 605mm

Important: Individual production batches are sorted and supplied according to their size and shade. Slabs supplied from the same batch will have consistent dimensions, allowing for a uniform installation.

However, different batches may vary slightly in both size and colour.

For this reason, we strongly recommend ordering sufficient material to complete your entire project in one order, including an allowance for cuts and wastage.

Additional quantities purchased at a later date cannot be guaranteed to match the original batch in either size or shade.

We recommend checking the actual dimensions of your supplied slabs before setting out your patio.

Installation Guidance

For the best results, Saba Beige porcelain paving should be installed using a full mortar bed with a suitable slurry primer applied to the reverse of every slab.

• Install onto a suitable, well-prepared sub-base.

• Use a full contact mortar bed, typically a minimum of 50mm.

• Apply slurry primer to the entire underside of each slab, ensuring complete coverage.

• A minimum 5mm joint width is recommended, although the lightly tumbled edges may suit a slightly wider joint for a more traditional limestone appearance.

• Check the actual slab dimensions before installation and maintain consistent joint spacing throughout.

• Use a suitable porcelain-specific grout or jointing compound.

• Incorporate adequate falls, typically around 1:60, to allow effective surface water drainage.

Correct installation will help achieve a durable, long-lasting patio with the appearance of natural limestone.

Colour & Pattern Variation

Saba Beige is designed to recreate the natural variation found in Egyptian limestone. Individual slabs feature subtle differences in beige, cream and sandy tones, together with natural stone-inspired markings and patterns.

This variation is an intentional part of the product's design and helps create an authentic, natural-looking finished patio.

We recommend viewing a sample before ordering and mixing slabs from different packs during installation, provided they are from the same size and shade batch, to achieve a balanced appearance.

Batching & Future Availability

Porcelain paving is manufactured in production batches, and slight variations in colour, pattern and dimensions can occur between batches.

This is particularly important with Saba Beige, as its lightly tumbled edge design means manufacturing batches may have different actual slab dimensions.

We recommend ordering enough paving to complete your project in one purchase, including an allowance of approximately 10–15% for cuts and wastage, depending on your layout.

Future availability of an identical size and shade batch cannot be guaranteed.
